Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro responsible for delivering a high-quality selling experience for DIY customers, meeting personal/store sales goals, handling DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), and maintaining store appearance and safety. Role includes key-holder duties (task assignment, opening/closing), assisting with inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), stocking and cleanliness, and providing expert parts knowledge and diagnostics using store systems and POS. Requires automotive parts knowledge, ability to source from multiple channels, proficiency with inventory and parts lookup systems, and strong customer service and sales skills. Must be able to work a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of inventory systems and POS/parts lookup systems
- Excellent communication skills (English; Spanish a plus)
