Retail Parts Pro

Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales role supporting advanced DIY automotive services. The position requires expert knowledge of store systems, extensive automotive part knowledge, and the ability to identify parts, troubleshoot, and assist with projects for DIY customers. Responsibilities include facilitating the selling experience for DIY customers (in-store and phone), achieving personal/store sales goals, managing DIY services (battery installation/testing, wiper installations, etc.), maintaining store appearance, and holding key holder duties (task assignment, safety, opening/closing). Secondary duties include assisting with inventory processes (truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and providing DIY services. Required skills include strong communication, inventory and parts lookup proficiency, diagnostic equipment familiarity, English proficiency (Spanish a plus), ability to read safety and maintenance instructions, basic math, and familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel. Prior experience of 3-5 years in automotive parts and demonstrated sales ability is preferred; ASE certification is welcome but not required.
