Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro specializing in advanced automotive parts and DIY services, with expert knowledge of store systems, parts sourcing, and diagnostics. Primary responsibilities include facilitating selling experiences for DIY customers in-person and via phone, achieving sales goals, managing DIY services (battery installation and testing, wiper installs), maintaining store appearance and safety, and performing key holder duties (task assignment, opening/closing). Secondary duties include assisting inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock) and store cleanliness. Required skills include strong communication, ability to locate and stock parts, safety knowledge, operating inventory systems and POS/parts lookup systems, proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel. English proficiency required; Spanish a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is preferred but not required. 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience is beneficial. The role is full-time and located in Austin, TX.
