Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales role in the DIY automotive business. The position requires expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to identify parts, troubleshoot, source from multiple channels (including special orders and second sources), and assist with DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs). Responsibilities include facilitating customer sales experiences, meeting sales/service goals, managing inventory and store-appearance standards, and performing key-holder duties (opening/closing, task assignment, safety). The role also entails operating inventory and POS systems, utilizing parts lookup tools, and delivering advanced selling and product-quality recommendations. Required skills include strong communication, parts sourcing, diagnostic equipment proficiency, and the ability to work a variable schedule; a valid driver’s license is required and ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
