Job Summary
Professional level sales role focused on DIY automotive parts at Advance Auto Parts. Responsibilities include facilitating the selling experience for DIY customers, meeting personal/store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installations), maintaining store appearance and safety, and handling key holder duties. Secondary duties include inventory cycle counts, stocking, truck put-away, and general store cleanliness. Requires working knowledge of automotive systems, inventory and POS/parts lookup systems, diagnostic/testing equipment, and strong communication skills. Must read and interpret safety and maintenance documents; basic math and Microsoft Excel/Word skills are required. 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience and a valid driver's license are needed; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends. English is required with Spanish a plus.
