Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales role focused on supporting advanced DIY automotive service. The position requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY services (battery installation/testing, wiper installs). Responsibilities include facilitating selling experiences for DIY customers and phone inquiries, achieving sales and service goals, managing DIY services, maintaining store appearance and safety, and performing key holder duties such as task assignment and opening/closing. Secondary duties cover inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and continued DIY service support. The role demands strong communication, parts lookup and sourcing skills, proficiency with inventory systems and POS, and the ability to advise on diagnostics and solution recommendations. English is required (Spanish a plus); must be able to read and interpret safety and operating documents and use basic math and Microsoft software; flexibility to work varied days/evenings/weekends.
