Retail Parts Pro

Professional level sales position supporting advanced DIY automotive parts functions. Role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and part identification with the ability to source from multiple channels (special order, FDO, second source). Responsibilities include facilitating the DIY customer sales experience in person and by phone, achieving sales and service objectives, managing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining high standards of store appearance and safety, and performing key holder duties (task assignment, opening/closing). Secondary duties include assisting inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock) and maintaining store cleanliness. Essential skills include deep parts knowledge, proficiency with inventory and POS systems, parts lookup, diagnostic equipment usage, strong communication, and ability to read technical documents. Requirements include 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, valid driver's license, and English proficiency (Spanish a plus); ASE certification is preferred but not required. The position is full-time at a location in Dumfries, VA, with standard days/evenings/weekends as needed.
