Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro responsible for a high-level sales experience for DIY customers, with expert knowledge of automotive parts and store systems. Demonstrates advanced parts identification, sourcing from multiple channels including special orders, and applies diagnostic and testing skills for DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs). Maintains inventory accuracy, performs cycle counts and back-stock duties, ensures store cleanliness and safety, and fulfills key holder responsibilities including opening/closing tasks. Requires strong product knowledge, ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems, and effective communication to build relationships with customers and teammates. Bilingual in English (Spanish a plus) and capable of working various shifts including evenings and weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instruction manuals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
