Job Summary
Professional level sales role for a Retail Parts Pro handling advanced DIY automotive service support. Responsibilities include facilitating the selling experience for DIY customers, achieving sales goals, managing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations, maintaining store appearance and safety, and performing key holder duties (open/close, task assignment). Secondary duties include supporting inventory processes (truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock) and store cleanliness. Requires working knowledge of automotive systems, ability to operate inventory and POS/parts lookup systems, and strong communication to build relationships with customers and management. Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is preferred. Emphasis on advanced parts knowledge, sourcing from multiple channels, and providing diagnostic/repair guidance for DIY customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
- Proven sales ability
- Strong customer-service mindset
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Experience using inventory and POS/Parts lookup systems
- Battery installation and wiper installations experience
- ASE certification preferred but not required
