Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro role with advanced automotive parts knowledge and DIY service capabilities. Responsibilities include facilitating the selling experience for DIY customers, achieving sales and service objectives, managing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), ensuring store appearance and customer service standards, and performing key holder duties (open/close, task assignment). Secondary duties cover inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and providing DIY services. Must read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions; proficient with inventory systems, POS and parts lookup systems; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work a variable schedule including evenings/weekends; 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and a valid driver's license are required (ASE certification preferred but not required). Additional skills include familiarity with diagnostic equipment, parts sourcing from multiple suppliers, and basic Microsoft Word/Excel proficiency.
