Job Summary
Professional level sales role supporting DIY customers with advanced automotive parts knowledge. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY service capabilities (battery installation/testing, wiper installs). Responsibilities include delivering GAS2 selling experiences for DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieving sales and service goals, managing DIY services, maintaining store appearance and inventory controls, and fulfilling key holder duties (opening/closing, safety). Must leverage inventory systems and parts lookup tools, provide advanced parts sourcing from multiple channels, and apply strong communication and relationship-building skills. Requires 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, valid driver’s license, and comfort with ASE concepts (certification is preferred). Fluency in English (Spanish a plus) and ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends are expected. Compensation ranges from $15.60 to $17.35 per hour, reflecting geographic factors and experience.
