Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro responsible for facilitating a high-quality parts sales experience for DIY customers via in-store and phone interactions. The role requires expert knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and diagnostic equipment, with responsibilities including advanced part identification, sourcing from multiple channels (special orders, FDO, second source), and supporting DIY services such as battery testing/installation and wiper installs. Primary duties include achieving sales and service goals, maintaining store appearance and safety, and performing key holder tasks (task assignment, opening/closing). Secondary duties cover inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and continued DIY service support. Must demonstrate strong communication, inventory management, and product knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and POS/parts lookup systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
- Proven sales ability
- Experience with inventory and POS systems
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to work diverse shifts including evenings/weekends
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
