Job Summary
Retail Parts Pro role involves professional level sales for DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and diagnostic capabilities. Responsibilities include facilitating selling experiences for DIY customers, achieving sales goals, managing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), upholding safety and store appearance standards, and performing key holder duties (task assignment, opening/closing). Secondary duties include inventory processing (truck put away, counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and providing DIY services. Requires strong communication, parts lookup and sourcing skills, proficiency with inventory systems and POS, and ability to read safety and maintenance documents. Candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with Microsoft Word/Excel; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Bilingual capability (English; Spanish a plus) is beneficial. The employer is Advance Auto Parts, with operations across the US and additional locations internationally; role is full-time at the Okatie, SC store.
Required Qualifications
