Job Summary
Lead the Retail Parts Department by managing daily sales operations, inventory accuracy, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Forecast parts demand, oversee cycle counts, and coordinate with Service, Sales, and Rental teams to ensure efficient parts availability and timely order resolution. Develop and mentor a high-performing team through coaching, performance evaluations, and hiring while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. Manage gross profit margins, pricing strategies, and departmental KPIs to drive continuous operational excellence and cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of Parts Department experience
- Minimum three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong inventory management experience
- Experience with dealership management systems or ERP software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to work in both climate-controlled office areas and warehouse/shop environments
- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required
