Job Summary
Proactively engage every customer to recommend products and services, utilizing the selling program to promote optimal solutions while maintaining awareness of promotions and loyalty initiatives. Consistently maintain store and print department appearance, signage, and merchandising standards, then complete freight sorting, stocking, and inventory low-filling daily. Advance personal selling skills and product knowledge through advanced Print and Technology training, including required certifications. Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention efforts while processing transactions using POS systems. This role requires consent to periodic background checks and operates within the ODP Group's B2B distribution platform.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
Desired Qualifications
- Retail sales experience
- Continued education in Print and Technology areas up to and including designated certifications, if required
- Advanced level of training in print and technology products/services
- Understanding of the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services
- Awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs
- Ability to maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines
- Ability to adhere to standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation
- Ability to follow established sorting and stocking guidelines and complete freight processes
- Ability to ensure freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines
- Ability to scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices
- Ability to support the company's loss prevention efforts
