Job Summary
Proactively engage every customer to recommend products and solutions, while maintaining store and print department appearance to company guidelines. Utilize selling programs and stay current on promotions to drive sales in print and technology areas. Complete advanced training in these product categories, scan and fill inventory lows daily, and manage freight sorting and stocking processes. Adhere to all policies, support loss prevention efforts, and use POS systems to process transactions accurately. This part-time role supports a vibrant sales culture within the ODP Group's network of retail stores, emphasizing operational excellence and exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous experience required; retail sales experience preferred
- Continued education in Print and Technology areas up to and including designated certifications, if required
