Job Summary
Proactively engage every customer to recommend products, services, and solutions that enhance their experience while maintaining store and print department appearance standards. Utilize the selling program to promote best solutions, additional products, and loyalty programs, ensuring signage labeling and merchandise presentation align with company guidelines. Scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily, complete freight processes, and maintain an organized sorting area. Complete advanced Print and Technology training and continue education toward designated certifications. Ensure compliance with company policies, support loss prevention efforts, and perform other duties as assigned. This part-time role supports a vibrant sales culture within the Office Depot retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
