Job Summary
Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring the proper and efficient operation of the station during your shift. Greet every customer with a smile, suggest possible purchases, and promote specials to meet customer needs. Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per company guidelines and communicate verbally with management regarding operational changes. Maintain safety and security of the store, document accidents, and enforce environmental regulations. Perform general housekeeping duties, manage station appearance, and complete the new employee safety orientation procedure. Must be 18 years of age or older with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Starting rate is $16.00.
Required Qualifications
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Validating Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
