Job Summary
Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring the proper and efficient operation of the station during your shift. Greet every customer with a smile, suggest possible purchases, and promote specials to meet customer needs and drive store profitability. Communicate verbally and in writing with management regarding operational changes or adverse items, and prepare a shift report at the end of your shift. Assume full responsibility for the customer service program, including validating identification for tobacco and alcohol sales, and maintain safety and security by documenting accidents and enforcing environmental regulations. Complete the new employee safety orientation procedure and perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Validating Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store

- Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents that occur
- Manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store

- Promptly Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
