Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate for Nouria Energy’s station in Duxbury, MA. Responsibilities include operating the store during shifts, delivering friendly customer service, greeting customers, promoting specials, preparing shift reports, enforcing safety and environmental regulations, maintaining store appearance, handling cash and products, and ensuring compliance with tobacco/alcohol ID checks. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule, read/write English at an 8th-grade level, perform arithmetic for transactions and vendor check-ins, and tolerate temperature variations. Starting rate $16.50/hour with part-time hours available.
Required Qualifications
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Ability to validate Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required under regulations)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside, etc.)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Prolonged periods standing and working at a computer
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of walking around the store
- Must be able to travel within store premises to complete duties
