Job Summary
Conduct proper and efficient station operations during shifts while ensuring customer needs are met through friendly, professional interactions and sincere greetings. Prepare shift reports per guidelines, suggest purchases to promote specials, and validate identification for regulated sales. Manage safety by enforcing environmental regulations, documenting incidents, and operating assigned equipment safely. Maintain store appearance, perform general housekeeping, and complete new employee safety orientation. Work a flexible schedule as needed, communicating with management on operational changes.
Required Qualifications
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Validating Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
