Job Summary
Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring the proper and efficient operation of the station during your shift. Greet every customer with a smile, suggest possible purchases, and promote specials to meet customer needs. Communicate verbally and in writing with management regarding store operations changes, and prepare a shift report at the end of the shift. Maintain safety and security, document accidents or incidents, and complete the new employee safety orientation procedure. Ensure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforced while performing general housekeeping duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Ability to validate Identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Can lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
