Job Summary
Retail Operations Team Member focused on delivering first-class customer service and efficient store operations during shifts. Responsibilities include greeting customers, suggesting purchases and promoting specials, preparing shift reports, maintaining safety and store appearance, handling cash and vendor check-ins, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule, and interact professionally with customers and management.
Required Qualifications
- Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
- Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change, complete shift reports, and account for products
- Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as per regulations)
- Can lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing; able to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Must be 18 years of age
