Job Summary
Lead and supervise store associates; drive operational excellence in merchandising and inventory management; oversee pet care operations, opening/closing procedures, and the store environment. Recruit, train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate daily tasks and act as Leader on Duty. Manage merchandise strategies, inventory audits, stock replenishment, and promotions; operate POS and ensure cash accuracy and policy compliance. Maintain store standards, safety, and a positive pet-parent experience with online order pick-up/ship-from-store. Ensure pets are healthy and safe, report sick/injured animals, and coordinate with store leadership to execute monthly live cycle counts and loss prevention. Provide exceptional customer service, develop staff, and uphold company policies and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience
- Full-time availability
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
