Retail Operations Manager responsible for driving operational excellence in PetSmart stores, leading and coaching associates, managing merchandising and inventory, overseeing store opening/closing, ensuring safe, healthy environments for pets, and delivering financial outcomes through effective staffing, labor management, and processes. The role emphasizes people leadership, improving store experience, inventory controls, pricing processes, backroom standards, vendor relationships, and adherence to Policies & Procedures while maintaining a visually appealing, compliant, and efficient store.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail leadership or experience in a customer-focused environment
- Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility
