Job Summary
PetSmart’s Process Leader (Retail Operations Manager) is responsible for driving operational excellence across stores, with oversight of merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, opening/closing procedures, and financial outcomes. The role requires leading and coaching store associates, participating in recruiting and interviewing, onboarding and development, labor management, and ensuring a safe, clean store environment while maintaining exceptional customer experiences. Key duties include evaluating inventory and pricing processes, optimizing staffing coverage, coordinating Buy Online and Ship From Store programs, analyzing sales trends, enforcing store standards and ethics, managing vendor relationships, and making sound merchandising and P&L-related decisions to drive store performance. The position emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams to deliver high-quality pet care and store operations.
Required Qualifications
