Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead responsible for driving operational excellence in PetSmart stores, including merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, and store opening/closing. Leads and develops associates, trains and coaches staff, and ensures a safe, clean, and engaging shopping environment. Manages POS transactions, merchandising strategies, stock replenishment, audits, order fulfillment for online orders (pickup/ship from store), and adherence to company policies while delivering a high-quality customer experience. Includes oversight of daily tasks, performance feedback, and maintaining store standards and layout.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Supervisory responsibility
