Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart responsible for merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, store opening/closing, supervising associates, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Leads and mentors sales associates, delivers training and onboarding, delegates daily tasks, and ensures a positive customer experience. Executes merchandise strategies, monitors inventory, conducts audits, analyzes sales trends for stock replenishment and markdowns, operates POS with accuracy, ensures adherence to Policies and Procedures, supports live cycle counts, and maintains high standards of pet care and store presentation. Requires 2+ years retail supervisory experience and full-time availability, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience
- Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout
