Job Summary
PetSmart Retail Operations Lead responsible for driving store-level operational excellence through merchandise handling, inventory management, pet care operations, and leadership of associates. Key duties include supervising daily tasks, training and mentoring staff, leading on-duty coverage, managing inventory and audits, operating POS and handling cash, executing merchandise strategies and displays, supporting store opening/closing, conducting live cycle counts, ensuring pet care standards and safety, and delivering a positive shopping experience for customers and pets. Requires 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, full-time availability including evenings/weekends/holidays, proficiency with computers, strong communication, and strong organizational skills. The role emphasizes leadership, operations execution, customer service, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
