Retail Operations Lead

Retail Operations Lead responsible for driving operational excellence in PetSmart stores, including merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, opening/closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Key duties include merchandise strategy execution, inventory audits and stock replenishment, POS operations, enforcing Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics, and daily leadership when acting as leader on duty. Qualifications include 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, full-time availability with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, proficiency with computer applications, strong written and verbal communication, ability to stay composed under pressure, and strong organizational skills to maintain an appealing store layout. The role emphasizes training and developing associates, delivering positive pet-parent experiences, and ensuring compliance and safe pet handling. This position is paid on an hourly basis with pay based on store location.
