Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart oversees merchandising, inventory management, and pet care operations while guiding associates, opening/closing the store, and ensuring a safe, organized environment. Responsibilities include leading on duty, training and coaching associates, managing inventory and displays, operating POS systems, ensuring store standards and ethics compliance, and delivering a positive experience for pet parents and customers. The role requires retail supervisory experience, full-time availability, strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage tasks and staff in a dynamic store setting. The position is paid hourly and based in Monroe, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
- Full-time availability
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility (no direct reports, but leads when needed)
