Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart responsible for driving store operational excellence, merchandising and inventory management, overseeing associates, and ensuring a safe, engaging in-store experience. Key duties include leading and coaching sales associates, executing merchandise strategies, managing inventory and audits, operating POS and handling cash, ensuring compliance with Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics, and assisting with opening/closing procedures, product arrivals, and customer/pet care experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
- Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout
