Job Summary
PetSmart Retail Operations Lead responsible for driving operational excellence in stores, including merchandising and inventory management, opening/closing the store, overseeing associates, ensuring a safe and organized environment, and maintaining strong customer experiences. The role requires leading and coaching associates, managing daily tasks, training, onboarding, and performance feedback, delivering accurate POS operations, maintaining store standards, and partnering on inventory counts and promotional setups. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus experience in supervising retail teams and adapting to flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
- Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a visually appealing store layout
