Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart driving operational excellence in store; responsible for merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, and maintaining a safe/organized environment. Leads and coaches associates, coordinates training and onboarding, manages daily tasks, supports associate development and performance, oversees merchandising strategies, audits inventory, analyzes sales trends, ensures POS accuracy, enforces Policies & Procedures and Code of Ethics, and maintains positive pet-parent experiences with online order pick-ups and ship-from-store. Requires 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, full-time availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), proficiency with computers, strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to lead while maintaining store standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience

- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience leading and developing associates
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising
- Ability to stand, walk, climb a ladder, and perform physical duties
