Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart responsible for merchandising and inventory management, opening/closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Drives operational excellence, leads and mentors sales associates, ensures accurate inventory, handles POS transactions, and upholds store standards and ethics. Oversees daily tasks, supports associate development, and delivers a positive pet-parent and customer experience while coordinating with leadership to optimize merchandise execution and sales performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience
- Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility
