Job Summary
Retail Operations Lead at PetSmart overseeing store operations, merchandising, and inventory management. Responsibilities include leading and coaching associates, training and onboarding, delegating daily tasks, and acting as Leader on Duty. Manage merchandise strategies, receive and display products, monitor inventory, conduct audits, analyze sales trends for stock replenishment and markdowns, operate POS systems, ensure adherence to Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics, and support a positive customer experience with online order pick-up and ship-from-store. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store, supervise associates in the absence of a direct supervisor, and uphold brand standards while driving operational excellence and associate development.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience
- Full-time availability required
- Flexibility in schedule; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility in absence of direct reports
- Commitment to PetSmart policies, procedures, and ethics
