Job Summary
Lead store-level retail operations at PetSmart with shared responsibility for merchandising, inventory management, and pet-care operations. Responsible for opening/closing the store, supervising associates, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Drives customer-focused experiences through training, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback; executes merchandise strategies, manages inventory and POS transactions, and ensures compliance with Policies and Procedures and Code of Ethics. Maintains a visually appealing store layout, supports live cycle counts and promotions, and ensures pets in care are healthy and safe while facilitating positive experiences for pet parents. Requires 2+ years of supervisory retail experience and the ability to work a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
