Job Summary
Retail Operations Associate at DICK’S Sporting Goods responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience, greeting customers, assisting athletes to understand needs, processing merchandise and freight, maintaining backroom organization, upholding merchandising and safety standards, and supporting the team across store operations. Key activities include unloads, freight processing, transfers, RTVs, claims, and adherence to service level standards, with an emphasis on accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and a proactive, inclusive store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
- Targeted Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
