Job Summary
Retail Operations Associate at DICK’S Sporting Goods supports a high-quality in-store experience by greeting customers, proactively assisting athletes, and maintaining merchandising and backroom organization. Responsibilities include processing merchandise and freight (unloading trucks, transfers, RTVs, claims, freight processing), upholding safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, and contributing to a collaborative team environment to help athletes achieve their goals.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
