Retail Merchandising Team Leader - Zone 11

Job Summary
Execute corporate merchandising plans in designated stores to ensure planogram consistency across Zone 11. Reset and stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain sanitary conditions while operating pallet jacks and forklifts. Evaluate shelf stock levels, review product dates for rotation and damage control, and collect trash for proper disposal. Travel daily to multiple retail locations in the Shreveport/Bossier City area, including overnight stays, to unload trucks and reload return items. Requires ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, with frequent driving and exposure to extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- One or more years of stocking experience
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Partner must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business
- Basic knowledge of store reset/remodel processes
- Basic mathematical and measuring skills
- Ability to read and interpret planograms and other merchandising blueprints
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes
- Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to frequently travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays
- Ability to use knives/box cutters
- Ability to operate a fork lift/pallet jack
- Ability to use precision hand tools
- May be required to drive in accordance with the BGC Driver policy
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
