Retail Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary
Implement company standards for store appearance and merchandise arrangement by collaborating with in-store personnel and assisting with initial store setup and optimal stocking techniques. Evaluate current stock levels to replenish inventory through actual orders or quantity suggestions, while removing damaged merchandise and administering returns processes. Actively manage product relocation, store resets, and labeling, utilizing planogram implementation with analytical data to merchandise specific categories. Serve as a front-end consultant on product placement concepts, prepare store layout drawings using Visio software, and generate tailored reports based on ABC reporting data. Record all store activities into the CRM and maintain ongoing communications with Community & Specialty Pharmacy, Health Systems, and Business Development Sales teams. Attend district meetings, trainings, and tradeshows as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Less than two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Good selling skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong creativity skills
- Focused and disciplined
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to possibly travel 50% + within assigned territory as well as other areas if needed
- Travel: 50%+ (can be more or less but on average) including travel with overnights
- Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
