Job Summary
Review project instructions and execute merchandising assignments including product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations. Conduct inventory counts, remove discontinued materials, and stock merchandise according to planograms. Travel between retail locations to complete required reporting, photos, and project documentation using a mobile device, submitting completion reports on the same day services are performed. This flexible, project-based role involves servicing nationwide retailers with typical assignments ranging from 12–20 hours per month during weekday daytime windows. Independent contractors manage their own schedules while meeting client requirements for retail execution and support.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
- Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with internet access
- Active email address for project communication and reporting
- Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed
- Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
Desired Qualifications
- Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
