Job Summary
Retail Merchandise Processor at Batesville in a fast-paced Goodwill store environment. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, processing and preparing donated merchandise for display; placing items on hangers and rolling racks; stocking the sales floor; recording and monitoring donations; staying aware of brand names and current styles; sorting apparel into categories (boutique/Ecommerce, sellable, salvage); maintaining daily quota while processing pieces; ensuring safety and security practices; providing friendly customer service to donors and customers; adhering to store policies and participating in meetings/trainings; cross-training in other store operations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of six months of previous work experience, or the equivalent educational or vocational experience preferred.
- Must be able to follow directions well and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all our customers in a friendly and engaging way.
