Job Summary
The Merchandise Manager drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. Major activities include assisting Store Manager in SOP adherence and company programs, maintaining floor leadership and service standards, leading truck execution, workload planning with store leadership, executing Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO), overseeing Planogram (POG) execution, maintaining visual merchandising standards, backroom organization, inventory control, ad sets, price changes, Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs/ASN receiving, store-damages procedures, and training/coaching team members. The role also emphasizes asset protection practices to reduce shrink and requires contributing to a safe, organized store environment while performing other duties as assigned.” ,
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years retail leadership experience
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures, up to 25-50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve products
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (scanning, stocking, POS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
- Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings
