Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensure proper tagging and coding, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans and labor laws. Maintain organizational cleanliness, recovery standards, and compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Coordinate with management on training needs and address shrink reduction goals while supporting credit and loyalty programs.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
