Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck delivery and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and recycling programs. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Rotate back stock for easy replenishment and ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and secured. Communicate effectively with management and the Coordinator on Duty to address priorities and provide progress updates. Support shrink reduction goals, promote safety awareness, and adhere to labor laws and policies. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
