Job Summary
Retail Merchandise Coordinator at TJX Companies (HomeGoods). Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. Delivers an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles, ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods, monitors productivity, organizes back stock for replenishment, maintains signage standards, and supports in-store safety and compliance programs. Works with management on Associate training needs, adheres to labor laws, and participates in store-wide programs and benefits. Location for this listing is Farmingdale, NY, USA, with starting pay between $18.00 and $18.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
- flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to train others
