Job Summary
Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team tasks align with the store plan and prioritizing operations as needed. Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate coverage in service areas. Execute opening and closing procedures according to guidelines while ensuring adherence to all operational procedures, labor laws, and safety policies. Promote credit and loyalty programs, support shrink reduction goals, and partner with management on training needs. Maintain a safe environment and exercise discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers. This role models exceptional customer service, promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, and requires open availability including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience
