Retail Marketing Representative (RMR)

Job Summary
Display a positive, upbeat demeanor while proactively engaging prospective customers to set appointments for HVAC and water heater purchases. Provide product information to assist purchasing decisions, maintain booth displays, and accurately process leads into the capture application. Supervise and support marketing representatives through on-the-job coaching, communicating daily with the sales manager regarding generated leads. Travel to retail outlets to perform duties independently, treating all customers as a priority while adhering to safety rules and company regulations. Work 30-35% at Costco with continuous standing for at least four hours, attending required training programs and periodic corporate meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly engage with people
- Salesmanship and persuasiveness
- Possess a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to prospective new customers
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Must be able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to continually stand for extended periods of time in indoor conditions
- Work in this position is generally conducted in a retail sales environment
- This position requires continuous standing for at least four hours at a time
- Periodic meetings will be attended at the corporate office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in setting appointments or sales of some type is a plus, but not required
