Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day retail operations at RWB Thrift, ensuring the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing while driving sales and profitability. Manage the retail floor schedule to optimize labor utilization, process backroom inventory, and maintain company standards across all customer areas. Supervise and develop retail supervisors through training, coaching, and performance evaluations to achieve sales targets. Handle recruitment by conducting interviews and managing onboarding, while maintaining an open-door policy for employee concerns and resolving incidents with HR. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, wage regulations, and equal employment opportunities in a fast-paced, noisy environment. Monitor retail metrics to identify trends and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs. of force
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Required to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of flexibility
- Ability to switch tasks or departments based on operational needs

Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-level of computer proficiency (MS Office, Teams, Outlook, and HRIS)
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience is preferred
